KUHN Knight EasySpread® 1200 Series box spreaders are designed to haul and spread solid materials from small dairies and stables, including gutter manure, yard scrapings and bedding pack. Three trailer models are available with capacities ranging from 165-290 ft³.
Features
Multiple Apron Speed Options
The two-speed gearbox provides three apron speeds for unloading flexibility of various material types. It also gives you the ability to adjust your application rate and cleanout speed.
Dependable Construction for Long Life
The all-steel welded construction provides a solid framework and includes a reinforced tongue that pulls directly from the full-width axle. This results in a stronger more dependable spreader since the unit is pulled from the axle rather than the front of the box.
Friction-Resistant Poly Floor
The solid one-piece poly floor provides more strength and durability than individual tongue and groove boards or plywood coated with plastic. This type of floor also results in a lower horsepower requirement.
Simple, Low-Maintenance Drive
The V-belt drive design is simple and easy to maintain. It provides protection for the drive by allowing pulleys to slip under overload. The pulleys and belts are accessible for routine maintenance through the hinged front door.
Low Overall Height for Easy Loading
The EasySpread box spreaders are designed with a low overall height for easy loading capability under barn cleaners and for use with a small skid loader.
